CULTURES IN THE WORKPLACE: REDUCING DIFFERENCES
2024/05/15Imagine Chaleur, in collaboration with the Vitalité Health Network, the Chaleur Regional Service Commission, and the Acadian Peninsula Regional Service Commission, is offering a training session to healthcare workers from zone 6. The training will take place at the Best Western Plus (150 Main Street, Bathurst, NB) on Friday, May 24th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. . The theme of this workshop is "CULTURES IN THE WORKPLACE: REDUCING DIFFERENCES". The training will be led by instructor Lionel Laroche, president and founder of MultiCultural Business Solutions. It will offer participants an approach tailored to the healthcare sector, focused on concrete actions, and will include tools to navigate multicultural work environments and improve the integration of immigrant individuals within their teams. This workshop is exclusively reserved for employees in the healthcare sector.

Imagine Chaleur launches a new awareness campaign to shape the region’s economic future
2023/09/06Bathurst, September 6, 2023 – Imagine Chaleur, the economic and tourism development service, is proud to announce the launch of its new awareness campaign intended to guide the economic development of New Brunswick’s Chaleur Region. This major initiative, scheduled to run from September 5 to October 31, 2023, invites local businesses to actively participate in a wide-ranging survey aimed at painting a complete and accurate picture of the region.Data collectionOver the next few days, nearly a thousand targeted businesses will receive a questionnaire via email or postal mail. The collected data will be used to create a comprehensive profile of the region, highlighting its assets and challenges. “We are convinced that our region’s success rests on a deep understanding of its strengths and weaknesses”, stated Ms. Shirley de Silva, Director of the Economic Development and Tourism Department. “This survey will assist our future initiatives by guiding our actions to stimulate local economic development”, she added.This opinion is shared by Mr. Daniel Guitard, President of the Chaleur Regional Service Commission, who proudly applauds this new initiative.
